Muhlenberg 24-Hour Release Status
As of July 19, 2026, no public Muhlenberg County 24-hour release feed is enabled. The official Bluhorse roster displays current custody. Its software contains a past-inmate search and a function called GetPast24, but the local setting reports PastInmatesPublic:"0". That setting locks the public past-inmate view. A name that drops off the roster has become a lead, not proof of community release.
The distinction matters because the Muhlenberg County Detention Center holds more than one custody group. An exit can mean bond, dismissal, probation, time served, sentence completion, or another community release. It can also mean transfer to Kentucky DOC, another county, federal custody, or another authority. Only the release sheet and receiving-system record can settle that distinction.

“Released from the jail” only means that jail no longer holds the person. Transfer is not release home. Parole and probation can place someone in the community while conditions remain. Complete discharge means the controlling sentence or supervision has ended under the agency’s own record.
Muhlenberg Bond Release Timing
Muhlenberg’s official bond instructions provide useful same-day detail. The clerk’s office handles bonds Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. After hours and on weekends, eligible bonds may be made at the detention center. Payment is cash with exact change. Cash bonds of $10,000 or more and property bonds must go through the applicable Circuit or County Clerk’s office.
The official instructions describe recognizance, unsecured or surety, partially secured, and cash bonds. They also state a $25 nonrefundable bond fee, plus a $5 jail fee when the detention center executes the bond. A posted bond authorizes release under the court’s terms. Request Muhlenberg Same-Day Records
A focused written request should identify the named person, the date of booking, and the booking number if known.
